Last weekend I taught a one-day screenprinting workshop at the Guelph School of Art, located on the third floor of the Wyndham Art Supplies building. It was tons of fun and I'm looking forward to the next one in May!

I was commissioned to print my 'Shaved Kitty' holiday cards in black & pink for a fellow cat lover living in LA. She claimed that the cat in the card looked identical to hers and she even sent a photo to prove it!

I've just finished printing and folding tons of holiday cards, which you can buy here & here! The ones featured above are 2 colour screenprints and come in a set of 3 for $10.
Yay for cats!
Yay for the Holidays!

Culture Days is a relatively new public art event that happens across Canada from Sept. 30 - Oct. 2 and I will be participating in 'The Print Factory", which is taking place on the third floor of the Trafalgar Building in Guelph. Myself and three other local printmakers (Tammy Ratcliff, Pam Lobb & Lydia Nieuwenkamp) will be holding demonstrations of various print techniques, and if you bring a t-shirt or tote bag you can get the above image (designed by me) printed onto it! Click here for more details.
I was recently hired to print a small run of tote bags by my co-worker/fellow artist/new Aussie mate Andrew Frazer. He provided me with the design and I did the rest. If any of you out there are in need of an experienced printer for a small run of posters, tote bags, t-shirts etc...drop me a line: email@example.com
I'll keep you posted.

Parts Gallery will be showing a few of my constellation prints in a group show this month. I've included a few images of the prints below, which I framed myself before sending them off to Toronto. It's the first 'professional' framing job I've done and I'm pleased with how they all turned out. Be sure to check out the show!
For father's day I made a paper cutting inspired by an old photograph of my Dad as an infant perched on my Grandfather's shoulders. I think it turned out great (and my dad thought so too!). Below is the framed cutting, which is sandwiched between two pieces of glass.

The screenprint above is a commissioned piece that I made using the photo below as reference. I think it's about 9 layers or so and measures 11 X 14 inches. I would like to do more of these, so get in touch with me if you would like an original print of your house!
